The ADR (Australian Dispute Resolvers) Arbitration Rules are available for the conduct of the arbitration process.
You can download them here, ADR ARBITRATION RULES.
Arbitration is an ancient and respected form of deciding an outcome, by a neutral person who has been authorised and empowered by the parties to make a decision on the issues in dispute between them. Arbitration Rules provide the administration framework that allows the arbitration to proceed with certainty.
The ADR Arbitration Rules have been specifically developed for On-Line application and Remote video-conferencing meetings. Developed to draw on the best aspects of the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, whilst including more certainty in the delivery of awards in Australia.
The arbitration rules together with the legislative recognition of the arbitration process contained in the uniform Commercial Arbitration Acts provide the framework that allows arbitrators to be properly engaged in the conduct of the arbitration process.
